Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Sobral!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bob Bucholter!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bucholter shoots in but Sobral avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bucholter tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sobral sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bucholter somewhat.
Bucholter tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sobral swivels and escapes.
Jason Sobral has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Bucholter.
Bucholter tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sobral sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bucholter somewhat.
Sobral moves in looking to clinch but Bucholter pushes him off.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bucholter is defended easily by Sobral.
Bucholter gets a clinch.
Bucholter has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sobral is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Bucholter gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Bucholter wants to pass the guard but Sobral is defending well.
Bucholter throws a strike but Sobral avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bucholter trying to control the position from guard on top but Sobral is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Bucholter tries to free his leg and advance position but Sobral is retaining full guard.

Bucholter wants to control from the top but Sobral keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bucholter shoots in for a double leg but Sobral sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bucholter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sobral pinned against the cage. Sobral gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sobral closes the distance looking to clinch
and Bucholter counters by moving into the clinch.
Sobral manages to pull guard.
Sobral controlling the position.

Sobral working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bucholter doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Sobral is tightening it up a little... Bucholter has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Bucholter reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Bucholter taps out! nice BJJ there by Sobral!
