Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Machete Trejo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chan Tapanakara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Chan Tapanakara was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chan Tapanakara!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Mauricio Rocha and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trejo just misses with a punch to the body.
Tapanakara fails to land with a series of punches.
Tapanakara fails with a takedown attempt.

Tapanakara feints and as Trejo raises his hands in defense, Tapanakara changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Tapanakara makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Tapanakara throwing strikes from guard but Trejo blocks nicely.

Trejo throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Tapanakara postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Tapanakara has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Trejo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tapanakara can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Tapanakara thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Trejo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tapanakara can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Trejo is trying to keep Tapanakara in close.
Tapanakara works over Trejo with some ground and pound from guard.
Tapanakara postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Trejo preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Tapanakara stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Trejo throws up his legs and catches Tapanakara in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Tapanakara tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Trejo! That came out of nowhere!
