The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kelly gets the takedown into side control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Kelly feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Von Lydeman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kelly bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Jack Von Lydeman's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jack Von Lydeman's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
