These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
tope misses with a double jab.
Roids slips a jab and a cross from tope.
tope tries to close the distance and clinch but Roids swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
a tope seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Excellent takedown into side control there by tope.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

tope has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Roids is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. tope yanks on the arm and Roids is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by tope.
