Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, BJ Paninii!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Floyd Pepper!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pepper throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Paninii was covering up waiting for the punch and Pepper finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Pepper passes Paninii's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Pepper slows the pace down in half guard.
Pepper wants to free his trapped foot but Paninii is holding on for dear life with his legs.
