The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Johnson or perhaps it was just good defense by bobberson which made him look bad.

and Johnson moves into the clinch.
bobberson jumps guard but Johnson stands there with bobberson around his waist. bobberson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Johnson is working for takedown but bobberson is calmly controlling the position for now.

It looks like bob bobberson has been cut.
Johnson tries to score a power double leg takedown but bobberson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Johnson somewhat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A looping hook to the body misses from bobberson. Johnson does a little dance to reset his feet.

Johnson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Johnson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Johnson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Johnson throws and elbow that misses. bobberson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Johnson's guard. Nice move by bobberson!

Oh but Johnson is tightening it up a little... bobberson has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! bobberson reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! bobberson taps out! nice BJJ there by Johnson!
