The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallis lands with a shot to the body.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Wallis.
Uchiha looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wallis is fending him off so far but Uchiha persists. Nope, Wallis circles away and we're back to standing.
Wallis throws a solid leg kick but Uchiha takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Wallis.
Uchiha shoots for a double leg takedown but Wallis sprawls well. He's pushed Uchiha's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Wallis fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wallis keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kruskal Wallis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kaeomon Uchiha.
Uchiha dodges the punch combination from Wallis.
Wallis scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Kaeomon Uchiha has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wallis leaves Uchiha with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Uchiha takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Wallis misses with a wild combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Uchiha tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wallis sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Uchiha somewhat.
Wallis lands a nice looking body kick.
Uchiha looks gassed!
Wallis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Uchiha circles away quickly and effectively.
Wallis throws a leg kick but Uchiha sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Wallis throws a nice inside leg kick.
Wallis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Uchiha takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Uchiha has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Wallis finds it's way round the side to connect with Uchiha's head.

Uchiha is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wallis dances in with a quick combination. Uchiha is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Wallis snaps Uchiha's head back. Uchiha stumbles backwards against the cage. Wallis steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Uchiha's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Uchiha just didn't come prepared.
