Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Edman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Egg Nok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Egg Nok was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Edman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Egg Nok!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edman thows a body shot but no joy.
Edman sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Nok pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Edman moves out of range of the strikes.
No luck for Edman with that takedown attempt.
Edman has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Nok.
Edman is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A telegraphed right hand from Nok misses the target.
Nok missing with a left hand there. Edman was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Nok. Edman shrugs it off though.
Nok lands a front kick.
Edman takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Nok slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
It looks like James Edman has been cut.
Nok misses with an uppercut. Edman saw that one coming.
A nice inside leg kick there by Nok. That's going to slow Edman down.
Nok connects with a right hand. Edman shakes it off.
Edman has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Nok.
Nok throws a hook but Edman avoids it easily.
Edman takes one to the side of the head.
Edman is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Nok engages and cracks Edman with a massive lead left hook - Edman tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Nok is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Egg Nok!
