Holmes kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Everybody Knows My Name. Laundoes comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Go To Sleep - Eminem kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jose Laundoes is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laundoes misses with a hook. Holmes ducked under it nicely.
Holmes throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Laundoes throws a looping overhand right but Holmes ducks down to avoid it.
Laundoes throws a right and a left that both miss.
Holmes slips a jab and a cross from Laundoes.
Holmes dodges the punch combination from Laundoes.
Jose Laundoes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Holmes tries to move into range but Laundoes moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Laundoes ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Holmes sends Laundoes crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Holmes is motioning to the referee to let Laundoes up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Jose Laundoes has been cut.
Laundoes lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Laundoes.

Laundoes dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Laundoes steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Holmes.
Laundoes uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Holmes.
Holmes avoids a punch combination nicely.
Holmes comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Laundoes looks gassed!

Laundoes leaves his chin hanging out and Holmes seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Laundoes crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
