Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ferdynand Kiepski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Ferdynand Kiepski enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bryan Hawk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ferdynand Kiepski! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hawk drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hawk stands up and beckons Kiepski to his feet. Hawk connects with a high kick. Kiepski shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Kiepski looks gassed! Kiepski stops Hawk from getting back to his feet.
Hawk has one foot on Kiepski's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Hawk closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hawk lands in his opponent's guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Kiepski looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hawk is one step ahead there. Hawk working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Hawk decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. This has been an exciting period of action! Hawk closes the distance and clinches. Kiepski tries for a takedown. No joy.

Hawk is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Kiepski escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hawk rushes Kiepski and presses him up against the cage. Hawk is trying to break the clinch but Kiepski has him pressed against the cage. Hawk wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Kiepski prevents Hawk from breaking the clinch. Hawk breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kiepski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Hawk looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Hawk thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Still in half guard, Hawk seems content to control. Hawk wants to stand but Kiepski has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Hawk works his way into full mount! Kiepski tries to reverse the position but Hawk maintains control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hawk controlling the position easily from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hawk trying to control but he's not successful this time. Hawk takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Hawk lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Kiepski hang on? Kiepski is bucking up trying to escape but Hawk cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Hawk is in the full mount, landing strikes. Kiepski really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Kiepski tries to hold on but Hawk pushes him away. Hawk is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kiepski is surviving well by controlling Hawk's body position as best he can. Hawk scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Kiepski?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hawk working for a guillotine from mount but Kiepski is in no mood to give up. Hawk controlling from the full mount. Kiepski regains half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hawk in particular looking to stall. Kiepski wants to control but Hawk is keeping busy and won't allow it. Hawk not doing much here.
Hawk is looking to take a break and control but Kiepski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hawk perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Hawk has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kiepski has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hawk is working away from the top position though. Kiepski has hold of Hawk's hands but Hawk slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Hawk prevents Kiepski from improving his position. Hawk is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bryan Hawk dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hawk. Kiepski stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kiepski wants it to stay on the feet. Kiepski moves in looking to clinch but Hawk pushes him off. Hawk has Kiepski up against the cage in a clinch.

Kiepski is working for takedown but Hawk is calmly controlling the position for now. Hawk wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Hawk prevents a takedown attempt there.
Hawk is trying to force a seperation but Kiepski has the dominant position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hawk manages to break the clinch.

Hawk fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kiepski sprawls well initially but Hawk persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kiepski wants to get back to full guard. Kiepski looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hawk is looking for a kimura but Kiepski is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hawk to get the leverage. Kiepski is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hawk's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hawk's back! Hawk trying to get back to his feet but Kiepski is in full control for now. Kiepski lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. Hawk is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Kiepski off. It looks like it's working - Kiepski slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Hawk displaying calm under pressure there. Hawk throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Excellent takedown into side control there by Kiepski. Hawk sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Hawk tries to roll over but Kiepski keeps him under control. Kiepski not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Bryan Hawk overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hawk pushes Kiepski off and gets back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hawk shoots in for a takedown but Kiepski shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bryan Hawk. That's going to take a lot out of him. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kiepski. Kiepski fails in his attempt to clinch. Hawk moves into range and clinches up with Kiepski. Hawk tries to break free but Kiepski pushes him back against the cage. Hawk tries to break the clinch but Kiepski is controlling the position. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kiepski is trying to control Hawk's posture but Hawk avoids it. Kiepski tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hawk wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Hawk controlling the position. Hawk trying to control the action but Kiepski is working from the bottom.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Bryan Hawk just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Hawk goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Hawk fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kiepski lands with a nice combination. Hawk backs away looking to recover. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hawk can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kiepski is looking to escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hawk decides to stand back up. Hawk steps back and let's Kiepski get back to his feet. Kiepski connects with a high kick. Hawk fails with the takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hawk changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kiepski tries to avoid it but Hawk manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kiepski to the ground. Kiepski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kiepski has managed to clinch.
Ferdynand Kiepski has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kiepski drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hawk gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Hawk is trying to break free. Hawk has had enough of the clinch but Kiepski keeps him there for the moment. Kiepski has Hawk pressed against the cage, preventing Hawk from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Kiepski wants a takedown but no success here.

Hawk escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hawk instigates a clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kiepski jumps guard but Hawk stands there with Kiepski around his waist. Kiepski gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Kiepski keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Kiepski connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hawk. Hawk circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
And that's the end of the fight! Bryan Hawk showed his dominance in that final round. Well Hawk has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
