These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bryan Larocque!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vlad Chippendale!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chippendale dives in and grabs Larocque's left leg, looking for a takedown. Larocque pushes down on Chippendale's head and hops out.
Chippendale takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Chippendale throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Chippendale shoots for a double leg takedown but Larocque sprawls well. He's pushed Chippendale's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Larocque leaves Chippendale with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bryan Larocque has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vlad Chippendale.
Jab, jab by Larocque - just one landing.
Larocque moves out of range of the strikes.
Larocque throws an overhand right that drops Chippendale like a sack of potatoes! Larocque dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
