Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Vegeta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sigmund Royal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Royal clinches up with Vegeta and pushes him back against the cage.
Vegeta looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Royal pulls guard successfully.
Royal wants to sweep here but Vegeta controlling him for the moment.
Royal trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Royal is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Royal pulls Vegeta in close to prevent any damage.
Vegeta looking to sit in guard and control but Royal gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Royal lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Royal stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vegeta swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Royal stands and steps away. Vegeta gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
The fight stays on the outside here - Royal looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Royal fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Vegeta avoids it really well and circles away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Royal is looking to clinch but Vegeta is avoiding it.

Royal sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Vegeta's guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Royal is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Vegeta defends it well.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Royal looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Vegeta is fending him off so far but Royal persists. Nope, Vegeta circles away and we're back to standing.

A close second round but Sigmund Royal will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Royal will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Vegeta up against the cage.

Royal has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Vegeta regains guard immediately.

Royal is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
