PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Victor Le (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Razi Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Le kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ave Maria. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Victor Le!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Razi Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Le fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Le displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gracie.
Le fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gracie on the side of the head.
Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Le tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Le to the ground. Le escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gracie tries to move into range but Le moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Gracie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Victor Le has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Razi Gracie.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Le as he jumps to the side.
Gracie misses with a shot to the body
and Gracie takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Le lands with a nice body punch.
Gracie doesn't succeed with the takedown
enabling Le to counter with a crisp jab.
Gracie tries for a takedown but Le circles away easily
and Le counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Le really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Gracie looks gassed!

Le lands a big head kick that sends Gracie tumbling to the mat! Le takes a step backwards and waves Gracie back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Gracie is rocked!

It looks like Razi Gracie has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Le grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Gracie takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Le cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
