Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Brone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Ekenbladh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brone comes to the cage accompanied by Street Dreams by NAS. Daniel Ekenbladh will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ekenbladh.
Ekenbladh throws a body punch but Brone moves out of range.

Ekenbladh throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Brone blocks it with crossed arms.

Brone has hold of one of Ekenbladh's legs. Ekenbladh is fighting the takedown attempt but Brone gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Ekenbladh just misses with a elbow thrown towards Brone's brow.

Brone wants the takedown. Ekenbladh is fighting it off but Brone persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Ekenbladh's guard against the cage.
Ekenbladh is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Brone is controlling him.
Brone has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Brone thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

It looks like Jason Brone has been cut.
Brone is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ekenbladh gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Ekenbladh escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Brone closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ekenbladh to the mat! Ekenbladh manages to get full guard.

Ekenbladh is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Brone can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
