The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wade throws a head kick but Freud moves out of range.
A big right from Freud misses.
Wade ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Dan Wade seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Sigmund Freud has been cut.
Wade takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Freud keeps the fight on the outside.
Freud looks to land a left hand but Wade moved out of range nicely.

Wade changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Freud looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Wade is looking to take a break and control but Freud is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
You can see the frustration on Freud's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Wade creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Freud sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Wade tries to score with some ground and pound. Freud controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Freud chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wade can pounce on him.
Freud ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wade moves away.
Wade lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A clash of legs there as Freud blocks the low kick.
Freud fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Wade on the side of the head.

Wade throws a nice looking combination but Freud bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Freud drops his hands momentarily and Wade takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Wade creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Freud's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Freud drops to his knees and Wade pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
