PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fifty Cent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Notsag Tnarffous (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tnarffous has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Notsag Tnarffous looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fifty Cent!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Notsag Tnarffous!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Anthony Taglia and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cent scores with a takedown into Tnarffous's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tnarffous looks gassed!
Cent stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tnarffous swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Cent sitting in guard here, content to control.
Cent knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tnarffous on the ground.
Tnarffous keeping full guard, as Cent tries to pass.

Cent gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Cent looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Cent slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Cent trying to stand up but can't free himself from Tnarffous's guard.
Cent pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tnarffous is keeping the position for now.

Cent not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Cent has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Cent trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Cent wants to get up but he can't break Tnarffous's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Tnarffous looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cent tries to free his leg and advance position but Tnarffous is retaining full guard.

Cent stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tnarffous swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Tnarffous is looking to stand back up but Cent counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Tnarffous.
Tnarffous is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Cent is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Tnarffous's shoulder. That is not cool.

Cent looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Tnarffous manages to work his way to half guard, despite Cent's best efforts.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cent is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Cent moves into full mount! Tnarffous won't be happy about that!
Tnarffous is looking to improve his position but Cent isn't that keen on the idea.
Cent avoids the attempt from Tnarffous to control.

Cent is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Cent looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Tnarffous!
Cent fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tnarffous wants to hold on but Cent pushes him away.
Tnarffous is trying to stand.
Tnarffous is working to get back to half guard.
Cent in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Tnarffous is squirming around, avoiding Cent's attempts to control the action.
Cent tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
Tnarffous gets back to half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Cent lands a nice short elbow.
Tnarffous is trying to maintain the position but Cent is very close to passing his half guard.
It looks like Cent is going to stand back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fifty Cent dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Tnarffous takes a kick to the side of the head.

Cent clinches up with Tnarffous and pushes him back against the cage.

Cent has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Tnarffous clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Good control from Cent.
Tnarffous rolls, trying to escape but Cent keeps control of the position.
Cent trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Tnarffous doesn't escape.
Cent seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Tnarffous for as long as he can get away with.
Cent has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Cent lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Cent avoiding Tnarffous 's attempts to control his hands.
Cent punishes Tnarffous with strikes from the back mount.
Cent biding his time, controlling Tnarffous.
You can see the frustration on Tnarffous's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Cent lands strikes to the head.
Tnarffous trying to get back to his feet but Cent is in full control for now.
Cent is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Tnarffous trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.

Cent has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Tnarffous has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Tnarffous is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Cent gets his way!
Tnarffous tries to escape but Cent has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Cent not allowing Tnarffous to control his hands.
Cent slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Tnarffous covers up after that shot from Cent.
Cent scores with punches from the back.


Tnarffous is rocked!


It looks like Notsag Tnarffous has been cut.
Fifty Cent overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Cent looking for the RNC.
Tnarffous is still in real trouble! Can Cent finish him?
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Cent is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Tnarffous is defending well though. Cent let's go of the attempt for now.
Tnarffous seems to have recovered his senses.

Tnarffous is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Cent gets his way!
Cent has Tnarffous flattened out and is raining down punches.
Cent controls the action.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cent slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

The cut man is working on Notsag Tnarffous's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Tnarffous fails with the takedown
and Cent counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Cent looks at the referee who does nothing so Cent lands a crushing right that sends Tnarffous to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fifty Cent!
