Gonzales kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is kułak. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzales shoots in for a takedown but Adams shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Adams displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gonzales.
Nice sprawl there from Adams as Gonzales shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Antonio Gonzales. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gonzales looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Adams pushes Gonzales up against the cage in a clinch.

Adams throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Adams throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gonzales was covering up waiting for the punch and Adams finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Adams in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Gonzales working a defensive guard but Adams manages to pass into side control anyway.
Gonzales is looking for a sweep.
Gonzales takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Adams gets to mount! Gonzales was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Adams is landing with some decent strikes but Gonzales is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Adams cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
