Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jackson Folks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sergei Shlemenko!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Thiago Cunha and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shlemenko swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Shlemenko feints and then cracks Folks's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Folks down.
The fight stays on the outside here - Shlemenko looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Folks closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Folks lands in his opponent's guard.
Folks won't allow Shlemenko to get back to his feet.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Folks accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Folks postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Folks drops back, looking for a kneebar! Shlemenko looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Shlemenko looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Shlemenko!
Folks could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Folks tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Shlemenko wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Shlemenko stands up.
Folks is breathing heavily.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Shlemenko.

Shlemenko clinches up with Folks and pushes him back against the cage.

Shlemenko escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Folks drops his hands momentarily and Shlemenko needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Folks just on the top of the head. Folks drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Folks - he's done!
