The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Khan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Prennd.
Khan keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Khan throws a nice looking combination but Prennd bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Khan throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Prennd shoots for a double leg takedown but Khan sprawls well. He's pushed Prennd's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Prennd shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Khan as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for BJ Prennd. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A shot to the liver by Khan. Beautiful body shot.
Prennd with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Khan to score with a decent uppercut.

Khan lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Khan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Khan lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Prennd can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Khan and Prennd drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Khan.
