Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Machida The Coward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doug Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think The Coward might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to machida the best. Marshall has chosen Hell -- Disturbed as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marshall takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Marshall throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
The Coward swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The Coward lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
The Coward throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Marshall throws a quick inside leg kick.
The Coward throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! The Coward crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Marshall - the referee stops the clock and The Coward gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Marshall. The Coward manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Doug Marshall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Marshall takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
The Coward shoots in for a double leg but Marshall sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Marshall counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Marshall's corner calls for a 1-2. Marshall obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

enabling The Coward to counter with a crisp jab.
Marshall throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck The Coward on the side of the head.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Marshall! The Coward is out on his feet! Marshall rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - The Coward is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! The Coward is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
