Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Kozyar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alister Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Kozyar. No joy for Knight on that attempt.
Knight throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kozyar's waist but Kozyar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Knight off to one side.
Knight shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kozyar pinned against the cage. Kozyar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Yuri Kozyar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alister Knight.

Kozyar fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Knight sprawls well initially but Kozyar persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Knight should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Knight is looking for a sweep. Kozyar is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Knight is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Kozyar jumps into side control!
Kozyar tries to advance to mount but Knight denies him.

Kozyar connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Knight is desperately trying to improve his position but Kozyar has a good base and remains in mount.

Kozyar's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Knight gets back to half guard.
Kozyar perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Knight looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Knight regains full guard. Nicely done.
Knight looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Knight looks gassed!

Knight has his foot on Kozyar's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kozyar works his way back into a safe position though.
Kozyar is in close to Knight's body, working some short punches and elbows.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kozyar pushes down on Knight's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Kozyar seems to be looking for submissions.
Kozyar has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Kozyar looking to finish Knight with some ground and pound. This is bad for Knight!

Kozyar is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Knight is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Knight flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Kozyar anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Knight and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Kozyar slips an arm under Knight chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Kozyar has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Kozyar is squeezing on Knight like an anaconda would it's prey. Knight fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
