PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Phillip Ziskie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AJ Magnaye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phillip Ziskie looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Magnaye looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ziskie!
Ziskie is in a horrible position here. Magnaye smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Magnaye can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ziskie is looking to escape.
Magnaye throws a sloppy strike and Ziskie uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Ziskie has ended up in Magnaye's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Despite being in the dominant position, AJ Magnaye just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Magnaye shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ziskie sprawls well. Ziskie wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Magnaye gets slowly back to his feet.

Ziskie throws the kick towards the body but Magnaye avoids it.
Ziskie leaves Magnaye with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Magnaye lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ziskie circles away quickly and effectively.

Magnaye has Ziskie pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Magnaye pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Ziskie tumbling to the mat - Magnaye dives into Ziskie's guard.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

AJ Magnaye comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Magnaye has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
