The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva clinches up with will and pushes him back against the cage.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

will tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no will has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

will wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Silva, who protects the arm well.
Silva tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

will is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Silva has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Silva is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

will shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Silva manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

will must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

will drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and will jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Silva wants to stand and escape but will is having none of it.
will stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Silva pushes will off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva pushes will off but will dives into side control.
Silva wants to get back to his feet but will is dominant here and he's now got Silva's back!
Silva controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

will is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Silva with him. Silva is trying to defend but will has an arm under the chin now! Silva grimaces and is forced to tap out!
