The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones lands a slapping body shot.
Nice straight punches there by Jones. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jones.
Tennant fails to land the takedown.
Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jones pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Tennant takes a shot right to the bread basket.
No luck for Tennant with that takedown attempt.
Jones slips a straight right by Tennant.
Tennant shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones sprawls well. He's pushed Tennant's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jon Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Tennant.

Jones leaves Tennant with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Tennant slips a jab and a cross from Jones.
Jones ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Jones scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tennant doesn't seem bothered though.
Jones's corner calls for a 1-2. Jones obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
A lazy left from Jones finds it's target.
The fighters circle momentarily. Jones darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Jones lands with a hook. Tennant tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A nice combination there by Jones.
Nice defenses there by Tennant.
Jones stalks Tennant and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Tennant's face. Tennant staggers backwards, shaken.
Jones misses with the combination.
Tennant tries for a takedown but Jones sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Tennant looks gassed!

Tennant ducks right into an uppercut from Jones.

Jones connects with a right hand. Tennant shakes it off.
Jones jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Nice sprawl there from Jones as Tennant shoots in.
Jones works Tennant's body with a nice hook.
Tennant takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Jones misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Donk. Jones catches Tennant right on the button with a cross.

Tennant is rocked!

Jones connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Tennant is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?

Tennant defending well as Jones loads up on a big left hand.
Jones uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Tennant has time to react.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Jones! Tennant is backing up but he can't get away as Jones lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Tennant and ends the fight. Great knockout.
