The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taylor closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Knightly is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Knightly wants to get back to his feet but Taylor is dominant here and he's now got Knightly's back!
Knightly really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Knightly really wants to buck Taylor off and get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

You get the feeling that Knightly really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Knightly knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Taylor on the ground.
Knightly tries to reverse the position but Taylor maintains control.

Knightly wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Knightly controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

Knightly looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
