Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Porttikongi clobbers Barton with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Barton shoots in but no luck this time.
Porttikongi slips under a jab.

Barton closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Barton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Porttikongi keeps working.
Porttikongi tries to get to full guard but Barton has control of the leg.
Porttikongi is working hard here to advance position.
Barton is looking to take a break and control but Porttikongi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Porttikongi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Barton has a takedown stuffed.
Barton fails with a takedown attempt.
Alistair Porttikongi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Barton.

Barton scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Porttikongi doesn't seem bothered though.
Barton throws a shot from downtown. Porttikongi moves away and avoids it.
Porttikongi slips a straight right by Barton.

Barton throws a body punch but Porttikongi moves out of range.
Porttikongi connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Barton tumbling to the canvas! Porttikongi pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Barton was done - good stoppage!
