Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Kirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tom Martin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Kirk! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martin connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Kirk displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Martin. Nice takedown defense from Kirk. No joy for Martin on that attempt. Kirk throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Martin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tom Martin. That's going to take a lot out of him. A head kick misses from Kirk. Kirk throws a body punch but Martin moves out of range. Kirk with a poor takedown and Martin counters with a single leg into guard. Kirk didn't expect that. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Martin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kirk looking to control.
Kirk is looking to stand up but Martin isn't so interested in that idea. Martin postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kirk wants to get back to his feet but Martin is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Kirk not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Kirk tries for a takedown but Martin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Martin doesn't manage to clinch there - Kirk circles away.
Kirk misses with a takedown and Martin counters with a takedown into side control. Martin is breathing heavily. Kirk wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kirk is not content to let Martin control the position. Kirk is looking for a sweep. Kirk manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Martin is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Kirk reverses the position - he's now on top in Martin's guard. Kirk trying to control but Martin is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kirk wants to pass the guard but Martin is keeping the position. Martin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kirk on the ground. Kirk passes into half guard. Martin is trying to stand up here but Kirk is controlling him well. Martin wants to get back to full guard. Kirk perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Martin is staying active underneath Kirk, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Kirk stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Martin to get to his feet. Martin misses with the combination.
Kirk wants to clinch but Martin slips to the side and Martin counters with a shoot takedown. Kirk fights it but they end up in guard. Martin looking to pass the guard. Kirk throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Kirk wants to sweep but no luck. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Martin wants to stand and escape but instead Kirk has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Kirk is looking to work some ground and pound but Martin has wrist control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tom Martin dominated that round. That's time! Martin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Kirk falls off balance throwing a combination
and Martin counters with a solid body kick. Kirk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Martin swats him away and circles back towards the center. Martin fails with the takedown and Kirk counters with a nice double leg into side control. Martin won't be happy with that. Kirk is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Martin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Kirk decides to stand back up. Kirk steps back and let's Martin get back to his feet. Kirk gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Martin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kirk's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kirk seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Martin throwing strikes from guard but Kirk blocks nicely. Kirk wants to stand up but Martin is controlling him. Kirk has Martin pulled in close to control his posture. Kirk can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Martin controls the pace. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Martin here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Martin looking to pass the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kirk manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Martin manages to get himself to full guard.
Martin is trying to hold Kirk in close to prevent damage but Kirk has managed to pass into half guard.
Martin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kirk is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Martin defends it well. Martin is looking to improve his position.
Kirk seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Martin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kirk wants to work for an arm triangle but Martin is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Kirk trying to control the pace. Kirk lands strikes from half guard. Martin tries to kick Kirk off but Kirk keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Kirk is trying to control the action in half guard but Martin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kirk is just content to waste time from the top position. Martin takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Kirk wants to control from the top but Martin keeps moving. Martin working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kirk. Kirk lands a couple of elbows. Kirk wants to control from the top but Martin keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kirk shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Martin counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Martin trying to control the action but Kirk is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Tom Martin will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Kirk fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Martin, pushing him back against the cage. Martin misses with a hook to the ribs.
Come on Martin - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Kirk is leaning against Martin and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Martin tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kirk just stands there and leans against the cage. Kirk displaying some good clinch control by pressing Martin up against the cage. Kirk changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Martin fights it off and pushes away nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Kirk lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Kirk is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Martin looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kirk takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Kirk looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Kirk tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Kirk dominating with strikes here. James Kirk has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tom Martin is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Kirk unloading with bombs!
And that's the end of the fight! James Kirk comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Martin has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
