Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Laon Aontro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Branko Bananko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aontro avoids the head kick by Bananko.
Nice takedown defense from Aontro. No joy for Bananko on that attempt.

Bananko misses with a takedown attempt - Aontro sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Aontro is bucking up trying to escape but Bananko cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Bananko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aontro. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Bananko has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Aontro dives in and grabs Bananko's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bananko pushes down on Aontro's head and hops out.
Bananko tries to land a front kick but Aontro steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Branko Bananko dominated that round.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bananko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Aontro moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Aontro tries to close the distance and clinch but Bananko swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Bananko counters with a nice double leg into side control. Aontro won't be happy with that.

You can see the frustration on Aontro's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bananko looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Aontro is fending him off so far but Bananko persists. Nope, Aontro circles away and we're back to standing.
Aontro will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Bananko drops down looking for an ankle pick but Aontro pulls his leg out and moves away.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

so Bananko counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Aontro working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bananko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bananko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
