The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manlenko shoots in for a double leg but Dangle sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Dangle blocks a jab.
Manlenko gets caught flat footed, as Dangle shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Dangle forces his way into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dangle throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Nice strikes from Dangle there.
Dangle is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Manlenko defends it well.
Dangle controlling the pace.
Dangle throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Dangle frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Dangle misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Dangle scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Manlenko is rocked!

Manlenko is still in real trouble! Can Dangle finish him?
Manlenko looks gassed!
The referee warns Manlenko that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Dangle cracks Manlenko with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Dangle quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Dangle but it's paid off an Manlenko is forced to tap! Nice work by Dangle.
