Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Slava Filatov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryu Hoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Filatov comes to the cage accompanied by "Pokrovi Nebesnogo Startsa" by Arkona. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoshi misses the shot to the body.
Hoshi misses with a head kick.
Hoshi dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ryu Hoshi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Filatov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Filatov tries to clinch but Hoshi is having none of it.

Hoshi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Hoshi clobbers Filatov with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Hoshi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

It looks like Slava Filatov has been cut.
Hoshi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hoshi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hoshi lands with a slapping head kick.
Filatov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Filatov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hoshi tries to avoid it but Filatov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hoshi to the ground. Hoshi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Hoshi swats away the attempt to clinch by Filatov.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hoshi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Filatov.

Slava Filatov's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
A head kick by Hoshi - that's a beauty! Filatov is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Hoshi can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
