Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leo Pardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Murphy McShannahan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pardy throws a left that rocks McShannahan and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Pardy dives into side control, looking to finish! Can McShannahan regain composure!

McShannahan is rocked!

It looks like Murphy McShannahan has been cut.
McShannahan is trying to control Pardy's posture but Pardy avoids it.
McShannahan is still in real trouble! Can Pardy finish him?
McShannahan sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
McShannahan is looking to improve his position.
McShannahan seems to have recovered his senses.
Pardy throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
McShannahan tries to roll over but Pardy keeps him under control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from McShannahan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Pardy has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Pardy and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
No joy there for Pardy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

McShannahan avoids the head kick by Pardy.
McShannahan walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Pardy checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
McShannahan fails with a takedown attempt.

McShannahan stalling in the clinch but Pardy improves position.

Pardy wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

and McShannahan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Pardy's guard now.

Pardy had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. McShannahan is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Pardy Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take McShannahan's back instead.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
McShannahan is trapped and Pardy is scoring with shots to the head and body.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Pardy is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. McShannahan defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

That was a close round but I would say that Leo Pardy will probably get the nod.

McShannahan misses with a takedown attempt - Pardy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and McShannahan counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
