Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shaka Zulu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinny Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vinny Cole is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shaka Zulu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vinny Cole!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Dean Styles and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zulu misses with a two punch combination.

It looks like Vinny Cole has been cut.

Cole sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Zulu's guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Cole lands a nice short elbow.

Zulu tries to kick Cole off but Cole keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Cole thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Cole is taking a breather. Zulu says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Cole winds up and cracks Zulu with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Cole is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Zulu defends it well.

Cole looking to secure an arm triangle but Zulu defends it well.

Zulu has left one of his arms exposed and Cole doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Zulu screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
