Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thompson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Aint I kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith lunges at Thompson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Thompson's hand.
Smith feints and then cracks Thompson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Thompson down.
Smith really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Thompson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Smith.
Smith throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Smith swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Thompson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Smith is working away from the top position though.

Smith is fighting off a takedown attempt but Thompson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Smith to the mat. Smith regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
