Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Cra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Dino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dino has chosen RAWR as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Luiz Cra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Dino!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cra lands a jab to the nose.
Danga de danga de dang - Cra scores with a four punch combination!
Cra throws a right hand that Dino ducks under and follows up with a left that Dino also avoids with ease.
Cra moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Cra throws a series of punches but Dino moves out of range.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cra throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dino shoots for a takedown but Cra saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Dino shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cra defends it nicely.
Dino throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Cra counters with a right hand to the body.
Cra moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Luiz Cra has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Dino.
Dino looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Cra fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Cra is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cra stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dino.

Dino darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Dino lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Cra is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Dino scores with a couple of nice shots.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Dino shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dino showed some decent athleticism there.
Dino is looking to take a break and control but Cra is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Cra trying to get back to full guard but Dino takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Cra misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cra lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dino circles away quickly and effectively.
Cra is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Cra throws a combination. Dino tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Dino closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dino lands in his opponent's guard.
Cra on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cra tries to get out of the position.
Cra preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Dino working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Cra's head.
Cra knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dino on the ground.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
The fighters circling - Dino throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Luiz Cra is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dino closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cra circles away.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Dino tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cra swivels and escapes.
Cra rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dino moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Cra counters with a two punch combo.
Luiz Cra is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dino.

Horrible takedown by Dino or perhaps it was just good defense by Cra which made him look bad.

Cra really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Dino lands a big shot there that rocks Cra but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

I think Dino has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
