The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller looks to land a combination but Mcmannus avoids it well.
Mcmannus misses with a jab, cross combination.

Miller gets caught flat footed, as Mcmannus shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Mcmannus wants to stand but Miller is controlling his posture from full guard.
Mcmannus passes into half guard.
Mcmannus throws a strike but Miller avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Mcmannus wants to pass the guard but Miller is keeping the position.
Mcmannus must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Mcmannus is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Mcmannus is looking to stand up but Miller won't let him.
Miller keeping full guard, as Mcmannus tries to pass.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Miller clobbers Mcmannus with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Miller keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Miller misses with a double jab.
Mcmannus shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Miller as he jumps to the side.
No joy there for Miller, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Miller fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mcmannus shoots in for a takedown but Miller shows good takedown defense.
Mike Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Murphy Mcmannus.
Mcmannus looks gassed!
Miller throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mcmannus.

Miller connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Mike Miller is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mcmannus missing with a left hand there. Miller was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Mcmannus takes a swing at Miller's ribcage but misses.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mcmannus.
Mcmannus shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Miller's corner calls for a 1-2. Miller obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Miller lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Mcmannus is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Miller cracks Mcmannus with a hook to the temple - Mcmannus is on wobbly legs here! Miller swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Mcmannus falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Miller wins by TKO!
