Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luigi Mata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luigi Mata will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mata moves in looking to clinch but Lopez pushes him off.
Lopez avoids the body shot from Mata.

and Lopez counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mata's guard now.

The fight stays on the outside here - Lopez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Good leg kick by Mata there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Mata goes for a takedown attempt but Lopez pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

and Lopez counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mata won't be happy with that.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lopez, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
