Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gray Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Potter might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Biggie Smalls - Victory. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gray Potter!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Lewis!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potter fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Daniel Lewis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lewis lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Gray Potter has been cut.
Potter misses with a wild combination.
Potter throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Potter takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Potter paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Potter closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lewis to the mat! Lewis manages to get full guard.
Lewis working a defensive guard but Potter passes into half guard.
Lewis wants to get back to his feet.
Lewis blocking the ground and pound attempt from Potter.
Potter thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Potter is taking a breather. Lewis says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Potter throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Potter wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lewis keeps working.
Lewis is looking to improve his position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lewis throws a lazy right hand but Potter sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A big right from Lewis misses.
Daniel Lewis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lewis misses with an uppercut. Potter saw that one coming.
Potter closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lewis circles away.
Lewis catches Potter napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Potter to the canvas!
Potter is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lewis stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Oh Potter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lewis connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Potter to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Lewis!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Daniel Lewis!
