The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fisher moves away.
Jones throws a looping overhand right but Fisher ducks down to avoid it.

Fisher closes the distance and clinches.

Despite being in the dominant position, John Fisher just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Jones throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Fisher escapes and throws Jones's legs to the side, diving into side control!
