Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jock McTaggert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiroshi Hatayama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McTaggert comes into the arena with Pitbull Feat. Young Black - Roll With Gee blaring out of the sound system. Hatayama has chosen Hiji Zuru Style as his entrance music. Hiroshi Hatayama has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiroshi Hatayama!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatayama throws a jab but it's blocked by McTaggert.
Hatayama will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
McTaggert avoids the body shot from Hatayama.
McTaggert uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hatayama.
Hatayama slips a jab from McTaggert.
McTaggert avoids a punch combination nicely.

Hatayama instigates a clinch.
Hatayama with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Hatayama misses with a knee strike.
Hatayama slowing the pace effectively.
McTaggert changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hatayama fights it off and pushes away nicely.

McTaggert drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

McTaggert drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hatayama manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now McTaggert has Hatayama in his guard.
Hatayama controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

McTaggert is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
McTaggert is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Hatayama dives into side control.
Hatayama moves into full mount!
McTaggert is desperately trying to improve his position but Hatayama has a good base and remains in mount.

Hatayama has hold of McTaggert's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and McTaggert manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Hatayama lands a big shot there that rocks McTaggert but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
McTaggert is trying to escape the mount.

Hatayama looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Hatayama with a couple of short strikes.
McTaggert gets back to half guard.
Hatayama trying to control from half guard but McTaggert is working away.

Hatayama is trying to work for a kimura but McTaggert is defending well.
Hatayama looks gassed!
McTaggert tries to get to full guard but Hatayama has control of the leg.
Hatayama drops an elbow to the side of McTaggert's head.
McTaggert wants to control but Hatayama is keeping busy.

Hatayama is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! McTaggert is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
