The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Daniels throws a head kick that half lands.
Alex swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Alex tries for a takedown but Daniels sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Alex looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Daniels moves into the clinch.
Daniels has Alex pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Alex manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Daniels drags the fight down to the ground.

Daniels has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Alex off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Alex tries to bum rush Daniels with a series of wild strikes but Daniels uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Daniels shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Daniels wants to take his opponent's back but Alex doesn't allow it.

Daniels throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Alex has his hands clasped together but Daniels breaks the hold and Alex is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Daniels!
