Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jay Wheeler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and chuito torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). chuito torres is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wheeler shoots in for a double leg but torres sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

torres scores a takedown into full mount!
Wheeler really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
torres sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
torres avoids the attempt from Wheeler to control.
torres controlling the position easily from mount.
Wheeler is desperately trying to improve his position but torres has a good base and remains in mount.

torres scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Wheeler swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.

torres gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Wheeler is looking to clinch.
torres takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Wheeler closes the distance and pushes torres back into the cage.
Wheeler tries to pull guard but torres holds him up against the cage and eventually Wheeler drops back down to his feet.

torres looks up at the clock and then as Wheeler takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, torres smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Wheeler is letting torres control him for a moment.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wheeler is looking to regain half guard here but torres keeps moving and retains side control.
Wheeler is breathing heavily.

torres remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

torres is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Wheeler knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

so torres counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
