Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silvva shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fightgear manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Fightgear keeping moving, preventing Silvva from controlling successfully.
Fightgear has his foot on Silvva's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Silvva works his way back into a safe position though.
Silvva got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fightgear has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Silvva has managed to get both his arms back between Fightgear's legs - danger averted.
Silvva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fightgear swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fightgear tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Silvva slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Fightgear.
Silvva is working for a submission of some sort.
Silvva missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Silvva is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Silvva wants to pass to mount but Fightgear is defending the position.
Fightgear is defending against the submission attempts here by Silvva.
Fightgear wants to get back to his feet.
Silvva is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fightgear is just riding it out for now. Silvva eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silvva thows a huge punch but Fightgear dodges it nicely.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fightgear trying to control but Silvva postures up.
Silvva wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fightgear keeps working.
Silvva prevents Fightgear from improving his position.
Fightgear is not content to let Silvva control the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Silvva feints and as Fightgear raises his hands in defense, Silvva changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Silvva stops Fightgear from standing up.
Fightgear is trying to control the position but Silvva postures up.
Fightgear is pulling down on Silvva's head to control his posture.
Silvva pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fightgear is keeping the position for now.
Silvva advances position into side control!
An elbow from Silvva crashes against the mat.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Silvva goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Fightgear rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Silvva's guard! Nice work there by Fightgear!
Fightgear is sitting in close to Silvva's body. Silvva has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Fightgear is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Fightgear is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Silvva.
