Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roy Maltive (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bada Bada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maltive comes to the cage accompanied by Show Me What You Got. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bada misses with a straight right.
Maltive looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bada checks a low kick from Maltive.
Maltive keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bada shoots in and drives through. Maltive sprawls well.
Maltive leaves Bada with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Bada throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Maltive stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Maltive does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Bada's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Bada shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bada was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Bada is trying to stick to Maltive's back but Maltive is turning into Bada. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Bada's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Maltive.
Bada manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Bada has hold of Maltive's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Maltive manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Bada manages to capitalize on a mistake by Maltive to take his back!

Maltive is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Bada gets his way!
