Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Tretow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hager Meister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tretow comes into the arena with Days of Thunder blaring out of the sound system. Meister has chosen Amazing as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hager Meister!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tretow has a takedown stuffed.
Meister doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Tretow counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Meister escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tretow gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Tretow is stalling in the full guard.

Meister looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Meister keeping moving, preventing Tretow from controlling successfully.

Meister throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Tretow got a little sloppy there for a moment and Meister has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tretow has managed to get both his arms back between Meister's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Meister has his foot on Tretow's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tretow works his way back into a safe position though.
Tretow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Meister swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Meister working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tretow doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tretow manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Tretow in particular looking to stall.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tretow, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
