Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Launston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonov Lopescu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Antonov Lopescu is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Launston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Antonov Lopescu!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Launston loads up on a big right hand but Lopescu slips the punch.
Antonov Lopescu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lopescu looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Launston drives through and clinches with Lopescu against the cage.
Launston has Lopescu pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Launston pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Lopescu tumbling to the mat - Launston dives into Lopescu's guard.
Launston's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Launston gets to his feet. Lopescu looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Lopescu shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Launston pinned against the cage. Launston gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Launston shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Launston is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lopescu doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Launston.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Launston stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Lopescu to get to his feet.
Launston looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Launston with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Launston seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lopescu for as long as he can get away with.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Launston moves into full mount! Lopescu won't be happy about that!
Launston trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Lopescu takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Lopescu is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Launston locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Lopescu is forced to tap!
