Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
couture tries to clinch there but padilla circles away.
couture tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but padilla was well out of range. Poor timing from couture.
couture changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. padilla tries to avoid it but couture manages to keep hold of a leg and drag padilla to the ground. padilla escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
padilla dodges the punch combination from couture.
couture is breathing heavily.
padilla moves in looking to clinch but couture pushes him off.
couture fails to land the takedown.
Bobby couture seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
couture throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
padilla stuffs the takedown.

padilla scores with an uppercut up the middle.
padilla lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Bobby couture's cut is getting worse.
padilla breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
padilla rushes couture and presses him up against the cage.

padilla closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming couture to the mat! couture manages to get full guard.
padilla stands up and waves to couture to follow him.
padilla closes this distance looking for a takedown but couture circles away.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from couture.
couture looks to clinch
and padilla counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bobby couture's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
