PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ronny Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Cekada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boy comes to the cage accompanied by Everclear - The BOYs are back in town. Boris Cekada told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Boris Cekada!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cekada tries to clinch but Boy is having none of it.
Cekada takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Cekada throws an overhand right that lands on Boy's shoulder, as Boy tries to avoid the shot.
Cekada throws the left hand but Boy avoids the punch easily.

Boy shoots in and bounces Cekada off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cekada throws out a loose jab but Boy uses good head movement to avoid it.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

A close round but Boris Cekada will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Boy shoots in for a takedown but Cekada shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
