Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between brad will (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jesus lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). jesus lopez will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
will shoots in and drives through. lopez sprawls well.
lopez shoots for a takedown but will saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

will shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in lopez's guard.
lopez looks gassed!

will drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and will jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
lopez wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
lopez scores with a short punch from the bottom.

will drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and lopez dives on top into guard.

will throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
lopez looking to sit in guard and control but will gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
lopez controls will momentarily but will frees himself.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now lopez is on top in guard.

will thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

lopez pushing down on will's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

lopez wants to work for an arm triangle but will is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
will is looking to improve his position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
lopez has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
lopez looking to control but will is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
will knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for lopez on the ground.

lopez swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and will is now in lopez's guard. A big mistake from lopez there, giving up the dominant position!

That was a close round but I would say that brad will will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

will tries for a takedown but lopez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
brad will seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
lopez tries to clinch up.
lopez dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

will throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. lopez was covering up waiting for the punch and will finishes the takedown easily into guard.
lopez looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but will puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

lopez is trying to control will's posture. will takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for lopez! will is rotating here... this could be the end... lopez is out! will has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!
