Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Convex pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McMulligan is looking to clinch but Convex is avoiding it.
McMulligan tries to clinch up but Convex circles away and keeps his distance.
McMulligan misses with a wild combination.
Convex tries to land a front kick but McMulligan steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Convex tries to clinch there but McMulligan circles away.
McMulligan tries to close the distance and clinch but Convex swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Convex shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches McMulligan napping and manages to drive through into side control!
McMulligan wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

McMulligan is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Convex asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Convex has an Americana. McMulligan didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Convex is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Convex hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
