The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hasselhof shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Johnson as he jumps to the side.
Hasselhof shoots in for a takedown but Johnson shows good takedown defense.
Hasselhof decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Hasselhof seems to be working for a kimura but Johnson defends the submission attempt.
Hasselhof stops Johnson from getting back to his feet.

Johnson pushes Hasselhof off but Hasselhof dives into side control.

Hasselhof tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Johnson gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Hasselhof looking for a guillotine from mount but Johnson is having none of it.
Hasselhof pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Johnson is desperately trying to improve his position but Hasselhof has a good base and remains in mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Johnson tries to improve his position but Hasselhof has taken his back! Hasselhof has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Johnson tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Hasselhof pushes Johnson away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
